1. General
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Daxi Assemblers (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to our clients (“you,” “your”). By booking or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
• Our services include furniture assembly, installations, and related tasks as agreed upon at the time of booking.
• Any additional work not included in the original booking (e.g., modifications, adjustments, cutting skirting boards or cornices, custom work) may incur additional charges, which will be communicated and require your approval before proceeding.
3. Pricing & Payment
• All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
• Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking. If the actual work differs significantly from the information provided, additional charges may apply.
• Payment is required upon completion of the work or as otherwise agreed in writing. Bank transfer is our preferred method of payment.
4. Parking & Site Access
• You must provide reasonable access to the site for our team.
• Parking arrangements are your responsibility. Any parking fees incurred will be added to the final invoice.
5. Packaging Waste
• Disposal of packaging waste (e.g., cardboard, plastic, foam) is not included in our service. All packaging materials will remain onsite for you to dispose of.
6. Heavy Lifting & Difficult Access
• If items need to be moved over long distances, upstairs, or require heavy lifting beyond reasonable expectations, additional charges may apply. These will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.
7. Wall Mounting & Hidden Services
• For wall-mounted installations, we take all necessary care when drilling into walls.
• However, no tool in the market can guarantee the exact detection of hidden pipes, cables, or services behind walls.
• You are responsible for ensuring the area is safe to drill by reviewing your building plans or confirming with a qualified professional.
• Daxi Assemblers is not liable for damages caused to hidden services (pipes, electrical, plumbing, etc.) during installation.
8. Safety & Secure-It Requirement
• For safety reasons, certain furniture items (such as wardrobes, tall cabinets, and chests of drawers) should be anchored to the wall following the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• We strongly recommend wall anchoring to prevent accidents.
• If you choose not to have your furniture anchored, Daxi Assemblers will proceed with the assembly, but you accept full responsibility for any risks or consequences arising from not securing the furniture.
9. Liability
• While we take great care in performing our work, Daxi Assemblers is not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage to your property or furniture.
• Damages caused by incorrect product design, missing parts, or manufacturer defects.
• Any injury or damage resulting from the refusal of anchoring as outlined in section 8.
10. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
